We are all faced with an important challenge: that the future of our city and our world lay within our children. As each generation is presented with increasingly daunting obstacles to educational excellence, maturity and productive living, our responsibility to them seems all the more pressing, all the more urgent. Every child is our future, and our future is calling.
In 1969, a young pastor answered that calling for generations of Central Florida youth, with a vision for a Christian education that would last a lifetime. Together, Dr. Clyde Green and Mrs. Dolores Green established an educational ministry for this community interwoven with sound Biblical principles and the teaching of God’s love. By their steadfast work and devotion—and God’s abundant grace—the school’s curriculum, programs and facilities have flourished, resulting in one of the finest K4-12 Christian educational experiences in the state.
Today, the vision and legacy of Pastor Clyde Green continues through the leadership and administration of Mrs. Dolores Green and of Eastland Baptist Church’s Pastor, Daniel Green. Their unwavering commitment to providing an educational experience of enduring quality is evidenced in the graduates themselves, many of whom are now parents of a new generation of Eastland students.
